Online Delivery Policy
Ashley Furniture offers fixed rate delivery of all items to around a 250km radius of Wangaratta. If, however, you would like to pick up the goods then you may do so for free from our Wangaratta Distribution Centre at 76 Newman Street, Wangaratta. If you would like to pick up the goods, we recommend that you contact our head office on (03) 5721 6058 prior to collection.
Our regional deliveries are charged per order (not per item).
Our online delivery price is often different to our in-store delivery price.
Our deliveries are delivered between the hours of 9am and 5:30pm on a weekday.
• The weekday of your delivery will depend on which delivery zone that you are in, you will be contacted by us within 48 hours of your purchase with a delivery day and time.
• You will receive a phone call by the courier before the day of delivery to confirm the time and double check someone will be present at the location.
DELIVERY OF GOODS IS ONLY TO THE ADDRESS FRONT DOOR, DRIVERS MAY ASSIST FURTHER ONLY IF ACCESS ALLOWS, WITH NO RISK BEING TAKEN WHICH MAY DAMAGE THE GOODS OR PREMISES, WHICH IS SUBJECT TO THE DRIVERS DISCRETION.
OUR DELIVERIES ARE A ONE MAN DELIVERY - YOU WILL NEED TO ASSIST THE DRIVER WITH LIFTING BULKIER ITEMS
• e.g. if you are having a lounge suite delivered, you may need to help lift one end of the sofa to carry it where you would like it placed, especially through a tight doorway
• If you require a two man delivery, please advise us when we contact you to arrange a time for delivery.

Items are delivered packaged and require some assembly, if you would like your purchase assembled please contact our Head Office and request assembly. Assembly requires an extra charge based on the time taken to assemble. The rate is calculated at $40 per hour (or part thereof) and includes waste removal.
The store can be contacted to enquire about delivery outside the specified zone area (that being within 250km of Wangaratta), with some online items available to interstate metropolitan areas.
All online purchases are usually shipped within 5 business days however some may take longer, confirmation of a specified date of delivery will be sent to the customer via an SMS message, phone call or email message.
We recommend you read our Return Policy prior to placing an order, which requires you to let us know within 7 days of a delivery of any defective goods received.
Our couriers offer a door-to-door service, so please ensure that there will be someone available at the nominated delivery address to sign for your items and receive the delivery. Couriers will not leave parcels unattended, unless instructed by the customer to do so.
Our couriers deliver to the front of your home. Should you require your furniture to be placed inside your home at your request, our courier drivers will do so whilst exercising all due care, however, Ashley Furniture and our couriers accept no responsibility for damages incurred to the delivery destination premises or the furniture whereby difficult access may have led to damage being incurred. This includes damage to items being delivered and /or its contents.
If you cannot be available to accept your delivery, you may contact us directly to provide us with an ‘Authority to Leave’ goods unattended, this will however void your warranty and neither Ashley Furniture nor our courier can be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage to your item.
Shipping costs include full insurance for products that are lost or damaged in transit.
We use carriers that are both convenient and cost-effective. We are confident that we offer the best value shipping rates in our zone.
If the product is not currently in stock, the item is unable to be delivered until it is back in stock.
In the event of non-defective goods being returned toAshley Furniture due to difficult access or the address being unattended, Ashley Furniture retains the right to charge a return fee equal to the original delivery fee. This return fee covers costs associated with re-packaging and warehousing the product.
Once your order has been made and confirmed, you will receive an email or phone call within 48 hours informing you of the date of delivery, if your delivery date is not suitable you may callAshley Furniture back or advise us to arrange a more suitable date to receive the order.Ashley Furniture cannot guarantee a more suitable date however we will make all efforts to satifiy your request. Estimated Time of Delivery
Please allow up to 10 business days for all deliveries.
Ashley Furniture reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of $40 for orders cancelled by the customer within 48 hours of those Orders' scheduled delivery date. This fee covers costs associated with extra handling and re-warehousing of the already picked and loaded product/s.
In the event of a cancelled order, funds paid in relation to that order will be refunded as soon as is reasonably practicable. You will be provided with e-mail acknowledgement of the cancellation and refund.
